One Hot Topic
It was recently commented by a blogger that Amber should iron my clothes. The simple fact is that someone (and not me) would have to show Amber which end of the iron gets hot. Thanks for the good thought, but a few kind words to an old man isn't going to get the wrinkles out of my shirts.

Sure, I'll recommend the dry cleaner that I make The Husband bring all our clothes to. I don't even know where the Iron is in my house...
This is all your parents fault. They should have taught you to check your prospective spouse’s skills prior to making a serious commitment. I made certain my wife had all the needed homemaking abilities – washing dishes, washing and ironing clothes, house cleaning, child control and training, cooking (very important one) and as a bonus she can play the piano and sing beautifully. I got a ring on her finger as soon as I could (100 days after we first met) and looked forward to the coming “good life” of marriage.
Everything was looking great until one week before the wedding. My mom took her aside and told her to never believe me when I claimed I didn’t know anything about “homemaking”. She told my soon to be wife that I had been fully trained in domestic duties including cooking and cleaning bathrooms. She left her with a final parting shot of, “Make him pull his weight Honey!” I think I’m being called for chores, got to go.
